You don’t have to be a beverage industry expert to know beer is big business, and you don’t have to be a historian to know Wisconsin is home to one of the country’s proudest beer brewing cultures. And while Wisconsin is often associated with legendary German names like Blatz, Schlitz, Pabst, and Fauerbach, it’s said that Milwaukee’s first brewery was actually started in 1840 by Welsh settlers.
