Kenneth Cameron

Dr. Ken Cameron is a Professor in the Department of Botany at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he also serves as Chair of Conservation Biology and Director of the Wisconsin State Herbarium, a collection of more than 1.3 million botanical specimens.  He received his Ph.D.

Barry Roal Carlsen

Barry Roal Carlsen was born in 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1980. He then moved to Madison for graduate school at the University of Wisconsin. Carlsen graduated in 1983 with a Master of Fine Arts degree, and divides his time between his studio and the UW Communications office.

Yeonhee Cheong

Yeonhee Cheong is a Madison, WI-based visual artist who explores the visual language of human bodies in society through various media, including painting, printmaking, and fiber art. Born in South Korea, she studied fashion design at Seoul National University and the Fashion Institute of Technology. 

Craig Clifford

Craig Clifford received his BFA from California State University Long Beach in 2000 and his MFA from Louisiana State University in 2003.  He exhibits his work nationally and internationally and has been included in the 2007 and 2009 World Ceramic Biennial in South Korea as well as exhibitions at the Clay Studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Pewabic Pottery in Detroit Michigan and the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, California.

Jody Clowes

Jody Clowes is the director of the Academy's James Watrous Gallery and arts editor for Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine. Her experience developing and curating exhibits, designing public programs, and writing about art includes senior positions at Milwaukee Art Museum, Detroit's Pewabic Pottery, and the UW-Madison's Design Gallery.

Portia Cobb

Portia Cobb is an interdisciplinary artist deeply interested in telling stories that reflect the double-consciousness of African American history, identity, memory & forced forgetting. Her body of work and research have joined these themes to short-form videos, photographic essays, field recordings, ephemeral installation and performance.

Holly Cohn

Holly Cohn grew up in a family who valued all forms of art and with a father who was a wizard with words. Her paintings and small metal pieces have been exhibited in galleries and museums both regionally and nationally. She received her BA in art from Grinnell College and her MFA in metalsmithing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has been teaching jewelry and metalsmithing at Madison College for 35 years, and has taught drawing, color, and metals at Lawrence University.
