Jack Damer

A leading figure in UW-Madison’s nationally recognized printmaking program for many years, Jack Damer has artwork represented in museum and private collections around the world. He taught printmaking and drawing at UW-Madison with a particular focus on lithography, and has led workshops and participated in artist residencies around the country and internationally.

Kristy Deetz

Kristy Deetz, associate professor and Chair of the Art Discipline at UW—Green Bay, received her MFA in painting and drawing from Ohio State University.  Kristy has taught painting and drawing at a number of universities and art schools over the past twenty years, and frequently gives encaustic painting workshops at art centers such as Anderson Ranch, OxBow, Haystack, and Penland.  Her extensive exhibition record includes competitive, invitational, and solo exhibitions throughout the U.S.

Michael Douglass

Michael Douglass is the director of Villa Louis Historic Site in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Through his work at Villa Louis, Douglass is actively engaged in interpreting the early 19th-century Great Lakes Fur Trade. One of the largest fur trade reenactments in the Midwest, the Prairie Villa Rendezvous, is held nearby each summer.

Jess T. Dugan

Identity and social connection are driving forces in Jess T. Dugan’s work. For the past seven years, she’s been shooting Every Breath We Drew, a series that explores issues of gender and sexuality in the 21st century LGBTQ community. Working within the framework of queer experience, Dugan’s portraits examine the intersection between private, individual self-concept and the search for intimate connection with others.

Josh Duncan

Josh Duncan graduated from UW-Madison’s MFA in Studio Art program in 2016. During his studies, he emphasized in comics, studying under Professor Lynda Barry. Working with other comics students, Duncan organized and participated in comic workshops at art festivals and the Madison Children’s Museum. In summer of 2016, he was chosen for the artist residency program at Madison Central Library’s artistic center, The Bubbler.

Carrie Eaton

Carrie Eaton is a UW-Madison alumna, having received an MS in Geoscience in 2004. She’s honed her geology skills working for the National Park Service, the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey, and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She has served as Museum Curator at the UW Geology Museum since 2009.

Carol Emmons

Carol Emmons is an internationally acclaimed artist who creates mostly site-specific installations, often in overarching series. Site-specificity (an individually tailored response to each site) can be seen in two installations she made for the Wisconsin Academy's James Watrous Gallery, both part of the Surveying Desire series.

Marianne Fairbanks

Marianne Fairbanks is an assistant professor in the Design Studies department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her BFA from the University of Michigan. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally in venues including The Museum of Art and Design, NY, The Smart Museum of Art, Chicago, and Copenhagen Contemporary, Denmark.
