Celebrate Pi Day with poetry and pie at The Hub.
Join the Wisconsin Academy for Poetry & Pie 2025 at The Black Business Hub, an enterprise center developed by the Urban League of Greater Madison devoted to incubating, accelerating, and networking Black and other BIPOC entrepreneurs. You’ll spend the evening hearing from Wisconsin's new Poet Laureate Brenda Cárdenas for the first time, and outgoing Wisconsin Poet Laureate Nick Gulig.
This hybrid event provides a chance to enjoy poetry readings from esteemed Wisconsin poets. In-person guests attending in Madison will be able to enjoy scrumptious pies on Pi Day.
