Kim Cridler (Mazomanie) builds monumental grid-like steel sculptures that often reference iconic vessel forms. Cridler then adds sensuous detail to these vessels using materials such as beeswax and hair. Sheboygan artist Amy Ruffo’s spare, elegant graphite and ink drawings explore the character of line. Ruffo’s semi-abstract works are based on her photographs of landscape. This exhibition is supported by the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission with additional funds from the Overture Foundation.
