A tribute to James Watrous, one of the most influential figures in Wisconsin visual art. Watrous taught art history and art at UW-Madison from 1934-1976, where he helpted to shape the departments of art and art history and mentored many students who went on to great accomplishments. Through artworks, photographs, and text, this exhibit brought to life Watrous's many roles and his legacy. Along with James Watrous, artists shown included John Wilde, Nancy Eckholm Burkert, Robert Burkert, Robert Grille, Doug Safranek, Dan O'Neal, John Wickenberg, and Robert Baxter.
