
Tracy Hames is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Wetlands Association. WWA is a non-partisan, science-based, statewide non-profit organization dedicated to the protection, restoration, and enjoyment of Wisconsin’s wetlands. Hames and staff help individuals and communities throughout Wisconsin gain the knowledge and guidance needed to protect and care for their local wetlands. Before returning to Wisconsin in 2011, Hames worked for over 20 years protecting, restoring and managing watershed-scale wetland projects on the Yakama Indian Reservation in eastern Washington state. Hames obtained a BA from Macalester College in 1984, and an MS in Natural Resources from UW-Stevens Point in 1990.
