
Tom Content is Executive Director the Citizens Utility Board of Wisconsin, the state’s consumer advocate for residential and small business utility customers since 1979. Content directs CUB’s work to advocate for electric, natural gas and water utility customers at the Public Service Commission and at the Legislature, and its work to educate Wisconsinites about energy and utility issues. Prior to joining CUB in 2017, Content was a journalist specializing in coverage of energy and utilities for the nearly 20 years, at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Green Bay Press-Gazette. A Journal Sentinel series he co-wrote on climate change and energy was named the top energy writing in the nation in 2007. Content received a B.S. degree in journalism magna cum laude from Boston University. He and his family live in Glendale, Milwaukee County.
