Sheila Hanrahan received her BA in English from the University of Iowa, where she was a member of the Undergraduate Writers’ Workshop. She received her JD from the University of Wisconsin—Madison, where she also taught legal writing. While she finds that many lawyers are interesting characters, and legal writing can get quite creative at times, she has happily returned to writing fiction and poetry in the last couple of years. She lives in Milwaukee with her husband Mike and their three wonderful children.
