
Roberta Filicky-Peneski retired in 2010 as a Senior Vice President from Robert W. Baird and Company, where she was a Financial Advisor for twenty years. Prior to that, she owned and operated Community Relations Consulting, a PR and marketing firm.
Filicky-Peneski earned her Master’s degree in Management from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay and her undergraduate degree from Edgewood College, Madison.
Filicky-Peneski is a board member of PBS-Wisconsin Friends and the Edgewood College Board of Visitors. She chairs the Sheboygan Redevelopment Authority, having served six mayors, and is currently an Alderperson in the City of Sheboygan.
Active in the community, Filicky-Peneski is currently Vice-Chair of the Sheboygan County Historical Society Foundation, and Past-President of the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra
Filicky-Peneski has received many awards including the Robert W. Baird Brent Rupple Award for Community Service; Wisconsin Women in Communications Woman of the Year; Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year; City of Sheboygan Humanitarian of the Year.
She is married to Thomas Peneski. They have a son, Mark, living in Denver, and a Daughter Ellen, living in San Diego with her husband and twin daughters.
