Robert G. Lange is a former executive director of the Wisconsin Academy (1999–2003) currently working as oral historian for the UW Archives & Records Management Oral History Program. Lange graduated from Carleton College and received his advanced degree at the School of Business, UW–Madison. Before joining the Wisconsin Academy, he was director of development for Arts and Humanities at the University of Wisconsin Foundation (1993-1999), director of development for the Madison Civic Music Association (1988–1993), and associate director of the Marshfield Medical Foundation—now the Lawton Research Foundation—in Marshfield (1979–1985).
