Liam Kane-Grade is a reporter covering local government and environmental topics for the Sauk Prairie Star. He currently attends UW–Madison, where he is majoring in journalism. Kane-Grade's work includes publishing the environmental newsletter Conscious People. He is the winner of the 2011 Charles M. Hart, Jr. Writers of Promise Award from the UW–Madison Creative Writing Department.
