
Hannah Gaines Day is completing her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is a researcher in the laboratory of Professor Claudio Gratton. She holds a BA with honors in environmental studies from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and an MS in entomology and agroecology from UW-Madison. Day is interested in the impact of habitat fragmentation and land use on insect communities. More specifically, she is in interested in how benefical insects in agro-ecosystems are influenced by local and landscape-scale habitat availability and management.
