Freda Harris recently retired after a 29 year career with the University of Wisconsin-System Administration, where she served as the Director, Assistant Vice President and Associate Vice President of Budget and Planning from 2004 to 2016. Before starting with the UW System, she worked at the Higher Educational Aids Board and the Office of the State Public Defender. Harris also served as the president’s representative for the Educational Communications Board. Harris has a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi.
