Francisco J. Sayu is the Vice President of Productivity and Sustainability at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), where he spearheads efforts to help businesses, communities, and residents across Wisconsin harness the economic opportunities of the clean energy economy. With over a decade of experience in the clean energy sector, Francisco brings expertise in engineering, policy, and business development. Before joining WEDC, he served as the Emerging Technology Director at RENEW Wisconsin, where he advanced innovative solutions to promote clean energy adoption and electrification statewide. He also led the Focus on Energy® New Construction Solution, a statewide program that empowers Wisconsinites to make informed energy decisions and lower their energy costs. Francisco holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
