Emmett Mottl is the editorial assistant for Wisconsin People & Ideas magazine and a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received a BA in English Literature. He previously served as editor in chief of Illumination, a campus literature and arts journal, and worked extensively to promote reading and writing with the Wisconsin Union Directorate Publications Committee. Emmett is currently working as Literacy Tutor Coordinator with the Schools of Hope AmeriCorps project in Madison.
