Emily Eggleston Toner is a Purdue Extension Educator in Urban Agriculture. She received her journalism graduate student at UW–Madison, specializing in science, environment, and food topics along with multimedia production. An Iowan by birth, Eggleston has a bachelor's degree in agronomy from Iowa State University. Though a student of soil science, swapping cornfields for lakes was a pleasant change.
