Dr. Hannah Wagie is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Wisconsin Lutheran College and Mom to a 9-year old boy and 11-year old girl. She never expected to be a chemistry professor! But a professor for general chemistry during her freshman year in college opened her eyes to the love of science on a microscopic and nanoscopic level. As an alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she discovered her love for teaching while a teaching assistant for various undergraduate chemistry courses. Writing about science in everyday life satisfies her compulsion to ask “why?” over and over again until she reaches the molecular level.
