Bill Davis brings over thirty years of experience in water policy to River Alliance of Wisconsin, where he works to advance new water policy and strategy during this critical time for Wisconsin’s waters.
Davis grew up outside Washington DC where he cut his teeth white water canoeing on the Cacapon, Rappahannock, Shenandoah and many other rivers. He has also done long white water trips in Alaska and northern Canada.
Before coming to the River Alliance, Davis worked on environmental policy at the state and regional level including stints as Executive Director of Wisconsin’s Environmental Decade (now Clean Wisconsin), Citizens for a Better Environment, and the State Environmental Leadership Program. Davis has an undergraduate degree in Wildlife Ecology and a Law degree, both from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
