Andy Kraushaar is a photographer and collector of vernacular photographs living in Madison. He works primarily with cyanotype and gum bichromate. Kraushaar was Visual Materials Curator at the Wisconsin Historical Society from 2001-2018. He has a library degree with an emphasis in archives administration and interned at the Library of Congress, Print and Photographs Division, and the Smithsonian Institution Archives, before returning to Wisconsin in 1988 to accept the position of manuscript processing archivist at the Wisconsin Historical Society.
