
Alex Latzka (he/him) is a Fisheries Systems Biologist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, where he coordinates statewide programs related to inland fishery monitoring and research, and has recently been involved in recent large-scale projects on panfish, muskellunge, walleye, and trout. Alex also represents the DNR Bureau of Fisheries Management on many climate change issues, and co-chairs the Fisheries Working Group for the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts. Alex was selected to be an American Fisheries Society Climate Ambassador, and received training from national science-communication experts on how to better communicate about difficult climate change issues affecting fisheries
