    Dr. Joanne Kluessendorf directs the Weis Earth Science Museum, the official mineralogical museum of Wisconsin. Located on the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley campus in Menasha, the museum focuses on Wisconsin geology and mining history.  She holds B.S. and Ph.D. degress from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Her particular areas of expertise include: Silurian & Devonian geology;paleontology; carbonate sedimentology, especially Paleozoic reefs & carbonate platforms; sequence & lithostratigraphy; history of the lime and stone industry; and museum studies.  She is also a Fellow of the Geological Society of America.
