Julie Thoney is the Community Service and Economic Development Manager for Xcel Energy’s east central Wisconsin service area. She has twenty years of experience with Xcel Energy and has held various positions in Customer Care, Service Policy and Energy Efficiency. Thoney serves on the Board of Directors for Momentum West, the Chippewa Valley Innovation Center, the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley and the Chippewa Valley Museum Foundation. She serves on the Wisconsin Economic Development Association’s Legislative Committee and the Eau Claire Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee and Business & Workforce Development Committee.
