Fran Hill is the CEO of Green Lake Renewal. One of the founding members of the Town Square Community Center, she created the concept for the reuse of the abandoned Green Lake County Courthouse, developed the business plan, recruited tenants—including Green Lake Kitchens, Green Lake Fitness 24/7—and developed all original programming for the highly-successful project. As CEO, she has most recently lead the organization’s initiatives to create a business incubator and to redevelop the former Green Lake County Safety Building into a new-generation, work-play complex that supports entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining Green Lake Renewal, Hill owned a chain of women’s boutiques in Wisconsin. Before moving to Wisconsin, she spent 20 years in the media and marketing business, including work for major public relations firms and CBS Television. She holds a BA in Journalism from Marquette University and a JD from Loyola University in Chicago.
