THIS COURSE HAS BEGUN AND IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS
Experienced, professional artist Mary Diman offers one-on-one consultation for this independent study course for intermediate- and upper-level oil or acrylic painters. Course participants will work from the comfort of their own studio or home location, drawing on reference photos, en plein air (landscape from life), still life materials, or sketches, to paint the painting of their choice. Participants will be asked to email an image of their work—either drawing/underpainting or work-in-progress—to the instructor prior to the scheduled sessions. During the series of six pre-scheduled Zoom calls that last from 15 minutes to an hour, the instructor will address scale, subject matter, materials, paint application, painting surface, composition, drawing, color, and presentation. Gain knowledge and confidence from personalized attention geared toward your specific artistic needs. Registration for this course is limited to twelve participants.
