Tara Daun is the Wisconsin Farmers Union Watershed Coordinator and works with four farmer-led watershed councils in Dunn, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix counties. Tara works primarily with large-scale grain and livestock farmers who are trying to improve the economic and environmental sustainability of their farms. The groups she works with leverage funding to create incentives that have tangible benefits to farms and the watersheds they lay in. Tara has a degree in environmental studies and psychology from the University of Minnesota Morris and lives in Pierce County.
