Graham Yeager

Graham Yeager is a Madison-based artist who has exhibited his work across the United States and internationally. Graham received his BFA in ceramic sculpture from the School for American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2002. Work for his thesis show was included in the American Craft Museum’s Horizon Award Competition. Upon graduation, he spent time in Taiwan as a research and studio assistant to a Fulbright Scholar. In 2003 Graham lived in Seattle as a visiting artist and teaching associate at Pottery Northwest. He went on to work at Haystack Mountain School for the Crafts in Maine, where he spent summers as a technical assistant in the ceramics studio. Graham later became the ceramic technician for the State University of New York at New Paltz.  While in New Paltz he expanded his technical skill base by taking welding and sculpture classes and teaching a kiln-building course.  He also worked part-time painting and detailing custom-built bicycles for the boutique cycle manufacturer Vicious Cycles.  In 2007 Graham moved to Madison, where he makes sculpture in his home studio.
